As I am posting blocknotes, thoughts, pictures and links of start ups that I perceive as newsworthy, I realized that I never consulted you guys for my own business. Therefore, I would like to ask you, whether you like the new homepage compared to the current uniqprint.nl. According to my perception, the website should be more interactive and I therefore embedded customer feedback, twitter feeds to the homepage.
My opinion is that a customer feedback tells you more then a whole website.
However, I am looking forward to receive feedback. So let me know what you think, more interaction or more information?
Ps. the website is in Dutch, but the look and feel is universal;)
Good things come to those who tweet (Title support by Stijn Baan)
My daily digestion of news is mainly focused around social media.
Dutchcowboys.nl is one of selected few and they published the initiative from Mozilla around webcare 2.0: Army of awesome.
Who is the army of awesome?
You, me, everybody who is willing to answer questions on twitter that relate to mozilla.
As a brandlover you can log on to the site and click on question you would like to answer. The openness to share brand related issues with their users is exactly what social media is about. The ROI of this initiative is caring and collaboration.
Transparency and the collective are the key words, which function as the basis of this support platform. I am a Google chrome user, but this initiative would almost make me switch.

The best way to get your message accross is to use word-of-mouth by offering an experience in real-time. The tourism board of Canada choose Twitter to persuade Americans and I must say they did a pretty amazing job. The tourism board of Canada took the risk that negative comments appeared during their campaign. However, Canada was confident enough that there country offered true customer value, instead of masking the flaws of their product. This campaign is thus an example to follow for numerous of companies to create your distinctive power on your pross and not by masking the cons.
